Carmel Massage Feedback

“I feel like a sausage that can’t bend.” My customer complained. She had reconstructed surgery with liposuction over a year ago. She had no bodywork or physical therapy post surgery. My job was to soften and untangle the matrix of stuck fascia. The scar tissue was like a rock, and prevented any flexibility. I gave her a combination of myofascial release and neuromuscular therapy. Slowly, I began to feel the hard tissue loosen. I worked on her for an hour and 45 minutes. I gave her stretches to do in between the weekly massage sessions. After about 3 or 4 massages she was able to move more freely. After this experience, I came to the conclusion that it’s essential to get massage after any surgery, including reconstructive and liposu.

Golfers syndrome Carmel, Ca is a golfers paradise.

Consequently, I massage many people who come here to play golf. Typically, they all have the same aches and pains. Why is this?
Golfing is one of the most a symmetric sports. Usually, people hit the golfball from the right to the left. One game consists of 18 holes. Most people would take four hits to get the ball in one hole. That’s 72 times hitting the ball with force in the same direction repeatedly. This forces the body to torque and contract to the left side. Golfers complain oflower back pain, tight hamstrings and calves. Usually, the left glutes are really contracted as well as the left calf. Both hamstrings are contracted. Of course, the turning muscles are tight, quadratic lumbornm. People’s bodies hate to have repetitive motion in the same direction and Not get stretched in the opposite direction in order to equalize the muscles. I always suggest that golfers swing in the opposite direction to counter balance the right to left swing. We are able to help
golfers affected by this a symmetric sport.
